This short shifter kit includes transmission adapter plate and our 3-way adjustable short throw shift lever, as well as the transmisson bushings and shifter base bushings. It’s everything you need to significantly reduce the shifter throw while also improving the shift feel and accuracy of your Ford Fiesta ST.
3 possible cable attachment combinations allow for shift reductions that range from 20% to 40%, making this kit truly customizable and a must-have for all drivers. Easy to install, and no modifications to the console or transmission are required. The short throw shifter retains the full functionality of the reverse lockout and a 30 degree bend, double that ot OEM, allowing the shift knob to sit in a much more comfortable position shower to the driver. The adapter plate is also weighted which aids in shifting momentum and positive engagement.
The short shifter kit is designed and manufactured in Boomba's manufacturing facility, right here in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. All components are precision CNC machined; the adapter plate is zinc plated billet steel while the shifter lever is comprised of black oxide billet steel and black anodized billet aluminum. The materials and coating were carefully chosen for strength and long lasting durability. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiast!
Boomba Racing aluminum cable bracket and shifter base bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter cable bracket, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.
These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.

15 fiesta st ultimate shift package
My fiesta st who has one you all know has some slop in the stock shift. But when I ordered the product I tell you, you will not regret it. I freakin' love this product. Worth every penny.

Outstanding product!
This has exceeded my expectations and dramatically changed the driving experience for my car. The only tip I would include in the directions is to put a couple of drops of superglue between the bushing halves on the transmission bracket. This keeps them together when you maneuver the bracket back on the trans.

Ultimate Shifter Kit
I do not usually do reviews. This however, may be the best mod package ever made. I just installed it in my 2019 FiST and it's like driving a new, new car. My advice to anyone who is thinking of ordering this package is to order it now. You won't be sorry. Great job, Boomba Racing!

So far it feels pretty damn good!
I'm simply going to echo the sentiments of every other review on here and say the results are definitely an improvement and this is only after 2 days. I love the nice firm and direct action it gives you and the 40% reduction is seriously noticeable. I had mine installed by SAE Motorsports in Oceanside as well and I'm really looking forward to some more seat time so I can really enjoy these results.

Makes shifting so much more fun
I have had the shifter arm, adapter plate and metal bushibgs (ultimate package short shifter kit) in my 2016 fist for a few months now and it was totally worth the money! I have mine set to 40% reduction and the shifting is smooth and not much more effort from stock. I do have it paired with a 675g ashiko shift knob as well which makes it even easier to shift but even with stock it was still nice. I will say after the initial install it was VERY stiff and almost made me regret putting it on 40%, but after about a week or so it broke in and after a month it is perfect. No slop, and definitely took out one of the week points of the fist which was crazy long throws for a sports car (even longer than my 03 Honda civil lx). Love this product! It's pricey but definitely worth every penny!

Huge difference in shifting
At the time of this review, all I have installed is the transmission bushings and adapter plate, but I can already feel a lot more accuracy in shifting. No slop at all, except for a little from inside the cabin if I pull past the shift position. This is something everyone should get, even if you don't do the full short throw package.
