This short shifter kit contains everything you need to significantly reduce the shifter throw while also improving the shift feel and accuracy of your Ford Focus ST.
Included in this fully adjustable kit is the short shifter transmission adapter plate and the short-throw shifter lever, as well as the transmission bushings and shifter base bushings. 6 possible combinations allow for shift reductions that range from 10% to 51%, making this kit truly customizable and a must-have for all drivers. Easy to install, and no modifications to the console are required. The short throw shifter also retains the full functionality of the reverse lockout.
**Compatible with OEM shift knob, or any shift knob with a thread pitch of M12x1.25 30mm**
The short shifter kit is designed and manufactured in Boomba's manufacturing facility, right here in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. Boomba Racing aluminum cable bracket and shifter base bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter cable bracket, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.
These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.

CRISPY!
The difference this kit makes over the stock assembly is incredible. It takes a squishy rubbery stock shift and turns it into a short positive crispy shift. No questions, this is one excellent shifter!

2017 FOCUS ST ULTIMATE SHIFT PACKAGE
Installed everything (except the transmission bracket bushings since it required more disassembly that I plan to do at a later date) in about 6 hours at my apartment parking lot. Probably could have done it faster if I had the longer socket extensions and trim removal tools. I'd recommend watching some YouTube videos instead of using the provided instructions. For the 2017, you don't need to dissamble the console quite as much. Overall, great improvement over stock! Shift throws are much shorter and noticeably more solid.

good product
The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars it cause the transmission bushing they sent me 1 out of the three was the same both were male Ito small openings. But I called them and they are sending me another set and installed everything else and love the 51% setting and even tho I only have 2 of the three bushing on the transmission bracket it still don't move.

Works as promised
I installed this last weekend and it delivered as promised. Nothing against the product but I ended up taking the Shift Adapter back off as I didn't like the feel after. Adapter was set to it's shortest throw setting, with the lever set to middle setting, throw was amazingly shortened. Finding what hole was which for the settings was a bit tricky too, found it on a forum. The directions I got were for a 13-14 Focus ST and they DO NOT match the 2015 for the dash tear down, so be careful not to break anything. Didn't take me long to figure out how it came apart though, and all of the install and parts was spot on. Couldn't get to the trans cable bushings, those will go on in time. Everything else matched right up and works perfect. Love it.
