20% shorter is perfect for me
It turns out I actually like the 20% shorter is perfect for me. I installed it with the shift bracket bushing. The short shifting plate is really easy to install. After both parts are installed, the shifting feel is excellent! I can shift much quicker and more accurate. Never miss third again. Great product!

nice easy upgrqde
It makes the throws significantly shorter, and is easy to install, so what's not to like? Install note - it's kinda hard to tighten the bolts with an small allen head wrench due to the lack of space, so I'd recommend picking up a 4mm allen head socket and using an extension to tighten them properly.

loving this thing
The shifter has a nice weight to it making shifts feel more solid and smoother on quick gear changes. I instantly felt the difference in the throw as soon as I drove the car one of the top upgrades for the Fiesta st!

Amazing upgrade
I bought this for my 2014 Fusion 1.6 and it is amazing. I loved the way the stock shifter felt, and this adapter makes it even better. Quality materials and an easy install, literally two minutes, makes this a must have product!

Noticeable shifter throw reduction
Installation was straight forward. It was kind of a pain because it's such a tight fit in there. The reduction in shifter throw is very noticeable. Feels more than advertised to me. Can't wait to pair this with the short throw shifter. Highly recommend this mod, especially at this price.

The short shift plate is one of my favorite modifications. It changes the whole feel of the shifter everything is more direct and feels tighter. The 20% reduction is perfect. Highly recommend this product.

Shifting Greatness
Got my plate for my FiST along with a bushing kit n man is there a difference, like night n day, shifting is great, got rid of d sloppy fell of d stock shifter n I'm not missing 3rd gear with spirited driving, install was very easy n would of been done in 20 minutes if night would off shown up.

Easy way to short throw
I admit, I haven't done much with shifter installs, but this is straightforward. The hardest part is getting the Allen key into the screws to tighten the baseplate. They aren't kidding about how noticeable the difference is.

shorter shifts, better feel
I installed this at the same time as the bushings and am super happy with the result. There is a much improved throw into 2, 4, and 6, and a slight reduction in reach to 1, 3 and 5, as advertised. With both products installed the whole shifting experience is tighter and more mechanical. Really happy with the mods and installation was the easiest one of my day.
