This direct bolt-on kit deletes and blocks the sound symposer from your 14+ Fiesta ST, cutting off the artificial drone noises being directed into the car's cabin, instead allowing you to hear your engine and exhaust tones as they should be. Included is this kit are an aluminum block-off plate and a delrin hose plug, both of which are precision CNC machined from high quality material with laser engraved Boomba logos.
The block off plate features a threaded 1/4 NPT port and plug, allowing for allowing the end user to connect whatever aftermarket accessories they desire, such as our in-development catch can. This kit is also must-have for those higher horse power builds, where the increased boost levels could break the internal diaphragm of the OEM symposer components and cause boost leaks. Installation is simple and as well as completely reversible.
The block–off plates are available in Natural aluminum as well as black, red or blue anodized.

Big difference!
I am really happy with the sound difference. Love the natural sound of the ST engine. Quality is great. The red looks a little maroon though. Overall, must have product.

Did it myself
Great product. I was expecting a very quiet ride based on other reviews but that wasn't the case (a good thing). The drone is gone and the OTT symposer sound at WOT is gone but there's still a nice engine note, which I like. I installed the kit myself using long reach pliers with 90 degree bend as mentioned below. But first I disconnected the hose that doesn't have a clamp and also disconnected the symposer from the engine. This enabled me to push/pull the symposer aside so I could get to the annoying clamp. Also, as mentioned below, the clamp was glued or welded to the hose so I couldn't push it down the pipe. I ended up fully clasping the clamp so it was permanently open in the same spot on the hose, then simply reclamped it once the plug was in. I suppose with two people doing the installation, one could open the clamp to loosen the pressure (and hold it there) and the other could pull the symposer out. It took me about 10min to get the technique right on my own but I got there in the end. Hope this helps others.

Overall great
The quality of the delete kit is great, and I can't believe how much better the car sounds without the symposer. I was afraid it would be super quiet, but it sounds exactly the same but without an annoying drone. The only issue I had was with installation, which accounts for the 4 star review. Like another reviewer said, the installation video is very misleading as far as removing the bottom clamp. The clamp squeeze point is pointed in a direction that makes it very difficult to access. I ended up bringing this 'simple' kit to a performance shop for install because I could not get the clamp removed on my own.

Need special hose clamp pliers
This symposer delete kit is high quality and works as advertised. Shipping was prompt. The car runs much quieter, even at extended WOT on a stock 2016 Fiesta ST. I would give 5 stars, but the problem was installation. The hose clamp which has to be loosened was difficult to reach and its tabs are hard to see. Boomba's installation video is misleading. It shows the clamp rotated from the factory position, making its tabs visible and easily squeezable. Regular pliers will not reach. I bought a cable-based flexible hose clamp pliers, but it broke. The clamp required more pressure to loosen than the cable pliers could deliver. I had to ask for help from my mechanic, who has long pliers with a bend (similar to the one referred below). I pushed the symposer aside to give him clearer access, and held a light for him. So it was a two-person job. Once that clamp was rotated, the rest was easy. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-pc-11-in-straight-90-offset-long-reach-pliers-61588.html

nice product
Very nice product. Very impressed with shipping 2days! The video installation looks so easy! Its pita to get the clamp to move down specially if its turned around once the symposer is off piece of cake. I definitely like the natural sound of the vehicle with windows down hear more spool and turbo but with windows up its quiet other than Cobb drop in filter I'm stock so some guys may dislike it. I did it because I hated the drone of the symposer plus its stupid IMO.

FiST drivers GOTTA HAVE this accessory!
I cannot comment on how this symposer delete kit would work on a stock FiST, but, after installing all COBB's airflow components from CAI, thru FMIC to Turbo back exhaust, I can say that the already boomy exhaust was a trifle worse, especially when "getting on the gas." I was able to install the kit myself--albeit with some personal problems--mainly the clamp holding on the symposer was turned so that the ears were in the back--VERY hard to grab ahold of, and then, the symposer was nearly "Welded" to the rubber hose, so, LOTS of Si lube was used to separate the two--BUT, after all completed, even my wife noticed a huge difference! You can STILL hear the car if the windows are open and you "tromp" the pedal, but the background drone/noise has really been attenuated!

Must Have
Installing this not only got rid of the symposer but eliminated the partial throttle whistle I was getting from the cobb intake. Looks great and excellent company to deal with!

Test fit for Fusion 2.0
Very well made and looks sharp. With the delete removing some clutter in the bay and also noticed a slightly faster spool.
