Boomba torque dampers are designed to eliminate wheel hop and improve the vehicle stability. They allow the wheels to gain better traction and improve acceleration. They eliminate 100% of wheel hop but transfer more vibration to the car body. Installation is simple and does not require engine support. They are machined of lightweight, aircraft quality aluminum with solid polyurethane bushings. The polyurethane hardness is carefully chosen so the engine mounts do not transfer any excessive vibrations to the body but give you very solid feeling during acceleration. Motor mounts are direct replacement of the factory top dog bone mount and bottom dog bone mount. They use the same hardware. You'll be surprised how smooth your car accelerates with Boomba Motor Mounts. Mounts are available with natural aluminum, red and black anodized finishes.
As with any aftermarket motor mount, there will be added NVH(noise vibration harshness) that wasn't there before. These mounts take 1,000 to 2,000 miles to fully break in.

Why wouldn't you buy them!!!
I bought them just because of the price. I was a little concerned by other reviews but these are the best motor mounts I've ever had on any of my Hondas work great and would love to see them make a full set that replaces all the mounts not just the 2 torque mounts.

Engine Mounts
Installed these mounts and I must say, they definitely do their job! This is my first set of engine that I’ve ever done and I’m very happy with them. Cabin noise and vibrations are what made me give it a 4 but should calm down after they’re broken in, my 9th gen feels SOLID and my shifting feels great!

Boomba mounts
I ran boomba mounts on my 8th gen si & now on my 9th gen si & they haven't let me down i dogged them all the time they still hold up viberation is minimal. Deep rumble growl in your exhaust note and honestly feels like the motor is welded to the chassis.

Good Product
Purchased these mounts to increased the power to the wheels and reduce the amount of engine "Flex". I must say they do exactly that. My engine doesn't flex hardly at all....and shifting feels much more solid now. However, keep in mind there will be a large increase in cabin vibrations as a trade off. If you can stand the cabin vibrations then these are the mounts to get. I personally think Boomba should have gone slightly less stiff on the mount bushings, but just an opinion.
