Boomba Torque Dampers are designed to eliminate wheel hop and improve the vehicle stability. They allow the wheels to gain better tractions and improve acceleration. They eliminate 100% of wheel hop but transfer more vibration to the car body (comparing to Boomba Driver Passenger Motor Mounts). Installation is simple and does not require engine support. They are machined of lightweight, aircraft quality aluminum with solid polyurethane bushings. The polyurethane hardness is carefully chosen so the engine mounts do not transfer any excessive vibrations to the body but give you very solid feeling during acceleration. Motor mounts are direct replacement of the factory top dog bone mount, bottom dog bone mount and front mount. They use the same hardware. You'll be surprised how smooth your car accelerates with Boomba Motor Mounts. Mounts are available with natural aluminum, red and black anodized finishes.
As with any aftermarket motor mount, there will be added NVH(noise vibration harshness) that wasn't there before. These mounts take 1,000 to 2,000 miles to fully break in.

Boomba Engine Mounts 06 Si
These mounts are awesome. Even from the second the starter cranks the engine over, you know the car has completely changed. If you drive your car for fun, this mod is a must. As a word of caution, if you drive in an area that salts the road in winter conditions, avoid replacing the lower rear mount unless you have experience with torch cutting.

Should've Tried This First!
I've tried every motor mount on the market (hasport, innovative, stock urethane filled, etc.) for my 8th Gen Civic Si and never really been satisfied. The main problem is the more securely you hold the motor the more vibrations transmit into the cab. This is particularly true if you've remove the balance shafts. Boomba takes a slightly different approach, it only replaces the factory torque mounts and leaves the fluid damper. This is the best balance of keeping the motor from rocking but still allowing the fluid damper to limit vibration. I definitely should have tried these first, especially at half the price of other motor mounts.

the “go-to” mounts for 8th gen civics!!!
The whole break in vibration was really not bad. Now the car idles as it would with stock mounts but the driving feels a million times better. Shifting is a breeze now with no flex in the engine. Great product. Already have recommended it to various friends!!!
