Boomba Racing aluminum cable bracket bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter cable bracket, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.
These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.

great replacement for stock
Stock ones are rubber and my st has 30,000 miles on it when i took old cable bushing out (made of rubber) they had holes and were falling apart. The shift is much smoother, also i believe It would help protect your tranny bc if the stock ones fall apart its metal on metal with alot of unnecessary free play that would probably result bad later

REAL bang for your buck!
I was skeptical to say the least when I purchased these. I have to say I've never been happier to be so wrong. They tighten up the shifting experience so much and gives the car a greater "performance" feel that you may not expect out of something so small and seemingly insignificant. It changes the whole driving experience. Night and day! I paired thsee with a 270kg weighted shift knob and I feel like I'm driving a whole new car!

Great Quality!
Boomba has impressed me again! Want to say that although my super high expectations were not met (probably because I need the shifter base bushing kit) there is a noticeable difference in feel especially from 2nd on up. Great product!

Focus St shift cable bracket bushings
These are awesome, my shifting had gotten worse since around 12k miles and finally at 19k i decided to do these bushings and it was night and day. 100 times better. Suggest pinching the bushing in place with your finger tips and putting a small amount of hot glue on the edges to hold them in place to make the install easier.

another great product
Machining was perfect with no slop. Install was simple just don't drop anything onto the splash guard below hard to get it back without taking that out as well. Clear instructions, easy install,not including looking for dropped parts(my fault of course). and combined with the tranny base bushing s creates a nice more precise mechanical type of shift side to side play in gear is virtually gone. Now time to save up for the short shifter and plate to complete my Boomba Trans facelift.

Deffinately makes a difference! great product!
You can deffinately tell the difference, even with out the shifter base bushings! Was a very easy install that took well under an hour, and to be honest, you don't even have to remove the battery box like the instructions say. Though it may help that I already have a symposer delete kit as well.
