This direct bolt-on kit deletes and blocks the sound symposer from your 13+ Focus ST, cutting off the artificial drone noises being directed into the car's cabin, instead allowing you to hear your engine and exhaust tones as they should be. Included is this kit are an aluminum block-off plate and a delrin hose plug, both of which are precision CNC machined from high quality material with laser engraved Boomba logos.
The block off plate features an o-ring on the intake manifold side to ensure a tight seal as well as a threaded 1/4 NPT port and plug, allowing for installation of aftermarket attachments such as oil catch cans or gauges. This kit is also must-have for those higher horse power builds, where the increased boost levels could break the internal diaphragm of the OEM symposer components and cause boost leaks. Installation is simple and as well as completely reversible.
The block–off plates are available in Natural aluminum as well as black, red or blue anodized.

Sound Symposer Delete
I just recently installed a boomba sound symposer delete in my 2017 Ford Focus ST and I am very happy with it. For one it cleans up the engine bay a little bit which is always nice. The product itself was great quality and very easy to install. I have an MBRP cat back exhaust which sounds really good but now that I have the symposer delete in it sounds even better because there is less drone and you don't hear the excess noise from the engine that was produced by the symposer.

Fixing the annoying drone that came with my aftermarket exhaust. Ordered the red version it is very well made.

Nicely machined
I bought this not because I i hate the Sound Symposer but because it crapped out on me and it was more expensive to get it diagnose and repair it. It also matched the the dipstick, oil cap and hood switch I purchased earlier. Very well made and simple to install.

Quick, Easy, High Quality
As has been my experience with all Boomba products so far, the symposer delete confirmed again their commitment to high quality products and execution. First, the shipping was very quick from the time of purchase and the product was nicely packaged. Second, the product itself as well engineered and I have no concerns that, after install, it will fail in any way. Third, the install instructions are very thorough and were referenced in the shipment itself with a handy card. Very happy I did this install and purchased Boomba to do so.

Easy to install, looks good, job well done
This symposer delete takes away the crappy artificial noise Ford implements into their vehicles. I enjoy the natural sound a lot more. Even though it does not sound as loud in the cabin it sounds much crisper. No reason not to get one, takes 10 minutes to install

Fine quality.
Like all of the products I have purchased from Boomba racing it arrived quickly and nicely packaged. Open it up and you can feel the quality and heft. The delete fit precisely and is a exact fit. Now the sound from the cat back is no longer competitive with the symposer. Just what was needed. How could something that is called a "delete" enhance my engine bay? It looks great.
