This high quality shift lever is built for performance without compromising comfort. It installs easily, replacing the OEM shift lever on your Focus ST with no modifications required to the surrounding console and is a full inch shorter. The short throw shifter also retains the full functionality of the reverse lockout. With 3 selectable positions, shifter throws can be reduced by 10%, 20% or 30%. The shift lever can also be used in conjunction with Boomba’s fully adjustable Focus ST short shifter adapter plate, capable of shortening throws by up to 51%.

**Compatible with OEM shift knob, or any shift knob with a thread pitch of M12x1.25 30mm**

The short shifter is designed and manufactured in Boomba's manufacturing facility, right here in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. All shift levers are precision CNC machined out of billet steel for strength and long lasting durability. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiast!

Perfect Shift

I am in love with my ST all over again... As much as you shift gears in a manual car, it needs to be perfect right? Look no further than the Boomba Short Shifter. Installation is a pain, but if you are mechanically inclined at all and can follow directions it is very doable. And did I mention worth every second and penny. You will not be disappointed.

Must have up grade

First off, everything Boomba makes is top quality, and this shifter is no exception. I didn't think it was a necessary mod, but after installing it I don't know how I drove with out it. The shifter now sits at the perfect height, and the shifts feel a lot more solid with no real added effort. I have mine set at 30% reduction and love it, and I do not have the transmission plate just the sifter. Install was super easy using the supplied color instructions.

Just installed like the other reviewer said taking apart everything was a pain but other than that the instructions were a great guide. Like I said before LOVE YOU GUYS.

Good Product, Instructions need work

The Boomba short throw shifter is really well built feels awesome in the hand, Love that the instructions are printed on heavy duty paper with color pictures!! They just need someone to re-write the instructions, they are all 3 or 4 word instructions that dont explain very much at all about what you need to do and i feel like each step needs a little more elaboration. I did refer to another video of an install, and a write up of how to install to help me. Other than that the shifts feel way better!! Its just a pain in the ass to do

This product is awesome. Taking the car apart was a pain in the ass but in the end it was well worth it. Took about 2 hours to install. Thanks boomba for a great product!

Short throws

I installed the Boomba short throw shifter along with Breedt short shift bracket and JBR solid shifter bushings. Throws are reduced by half (about 2 inches) and the shifter is roughly an inch lower. It's harder to shift but the throws are very positive and you can tell when you're in gear.

Best Focus ST Shifter on the market

I recently purchased and installed this shifter. It sits about 1.5 inches lower than the factory shifter and is much more precise and solid feeling. I highly recommend this to anyone with a Focus ST. The install does take about 2 hours but is well worth it.
