Boomba Racing shifter base bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter assembly, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.
These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.

Shifter base bushings
Be careful some of the clips can pop off behind the center console. Good time to clean and vacuum everything when it's out. Pretty easy install. Installed with cable bushings as well. Not a huge difference but feels more solid Not so clunky

Better then everyone says
Got this product to match mr transmission bushing I had replaced a wile back and they work very well to bad they have to be hidden under the shift boot because they look great specially the red ones to match the my interior.

Fiesta ST Aluminum Shifter Base Bushings
I replaced the bushings as I mounted the short throw shifter. Definitly would combine those two products, because it's a lot of work to undo all the interiorpanels.

Feels great
Install on my FiST was really easy. I watched the step by step video provided my BOOMBA on youtube and finished the install in just under an hour. I cant recommend these bushings enough.

What a difference!!
I recently purchased both bushing sets, a delrin shift knob and short shifter adapter plate. I only have the knob and base bushings installed so far and I cannot believe the difference in feel so far!! I can't wait to install the rest! This gives driving the car a whole different feel. I highly recommend getting the bushing kits at the least! What a great bang for the buck!

For the money, this is a no-brainer. The quality is great and the install for me (a non-mechanic) was pretty easy thanks to the detailed install video on Boomba's website. Shifts feel more precise and less clunky.

Combined installation, FiST Shifter components
I installed this set of bushings concurrently with short shifter installation. I used CA to hold the two pieces together while wiggling the shifter into position. Once all was located, the bolts REALLY snugged it all down tight. Like the other reviewers stated, this kit and shifter kit totally transform our FiSTs! I only have these bushings and short shifter so far: will get the transmission bushings and shifter plate installed later--by a COMPETENT Mechanic!

Worth Every Penny!
I just installed these bushings on my new 2015 Fiesta ST. I would have to say I am very impressed with the feel of the shifting after the install. The stock rubber bushing make the shifts feel sloppy and its like you wobble into each gear. With the Boomba Shifter bushings you can shift like a pro and not have to worry about sloppy throws. Theses are worth every penny and will spread the word to my fellow ST owners. Buy them you will not be sad!!
