[Installation Guide]

This product fits both the 10th and 11th Gen Civic models.

This extremely durable and high-quality adapter installs easily to the existing input bracket on top of your Tenth Gen Civic transmission. No OEM parts need to be removed or modified during the installation process. Once installed, the adapter plate reduces shifter throws by 30%. CNC machined out of billet steel and weighing in at 630g, the increased weight aids in shifting momentum and positive engagement, improving the overall feel of your shifting experience.

The adapter bracket is designed and manufactured in Boomba's own facility, right here in the United States, and all mounting hardware is included. All adapter plates and hardware are zinc plated for durability and excellent appearance. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiasts alike!

My preferred short throw adapter opposed to other brands FOR 10TH Gen Civics!

If you're looking to get a short throw adapter for your 10th Gen Civic, This should be the one! There are some short throw adapters out on the market that are installed on the stick shift itself, but it has been shown that after installing these you get a "CLICK" noise when shifting into even gears. The noise is caused due to the adapter putting more strain on the shift cable mount. While it does put strain, you can remedy this by having to drill holes into the stick shift housing and using 2 zip ties to tie down the shift cable mount. I didn't want to do that. Boomba didn't go this route when it comes to their short throw adapter. Rather their adapter installs inside of the engine bay. Using a block of machined metal as a spacer/riser for the shift cable. BTW no there have been no clicking noises after installing this adapter. Pros: 1. Installs inside of the engine bay. 2. Machined metal for solid quality. 3. 30% decrease of stick throw. 4. No click noise 5. Installation for the adapter ITSELF is EASY. Just need to tighten 4 allen bolts. Cons: 1. Price(to be fair though any machined metal is gonna cost you) 2. Installation maybe easy but getting to where you need to be to install the adapter is another thing. You have 2 ways either follow the installation video Boobma provides or You can just take out the car battery. I ended up doing the battery way but then realized why Boomba did it the way they did in their video. I barely had room to work with. The battery way isn't bad its just space is limited when trying to install. Probably the worst part when installing is trying to get the retention clip out to remove the shift cable from its bracket. I ended up using a vice grip to take it off which resulted in the clip falling inside the engine bay *face palm*. After 20 mins of fumbling about under the engine I got the clip back. I then installed the Boomba adapter, put the shift cable in the adapter, put back the retention clip to hold the shift cable in, and then I hammered it down. DONE. Overall, I really enjoy my Boomba racing short throw adapter. Throws are definitely shorter and there is less play in my stick shift. Feels more solid and mechanical. I recommend it! Thanks Boomba Racing!
