A heavier shift knob places more weight toward the end of the shift lever, increasing momentum during shifts and giving you a greater mechanical advantage. This results in a much more positive, satisfying throw when rowing through the gears.
The Delrin shell includes an anodized cap with an engraved shift pattern and an anodized aluminum collar at the bottom of the knob. The Delrin material prevents the surface of the shift knob from getting too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. These shift knobs make a great addition to your Subaru's interior!
