After searching around and doing some research I decided to pull the switch and try out the Boomba Short Throw shift kit w/Transmission adapter plate. I have been looking at short throw shifters for my ST for quite some time. The competition didn't have what I wanted, as I didn't want to have to trim interior panels, and didn't want to change the geometry of the angles that the shifter naturally sat at. I wanted a shorted throw, and a shorter height for the actual lever. Boomba met both requirements spot on. I will have to say that their instructions were just as high quality as the part's engineering. It was very helpful when removing all of the interior parts, replacing the shifter pieces, and putting everything back together. This part changed the car for the better. I can't imagine going back to how the shifter felt before. Another excellent product Boomba!

Quality and craftmanship are great. Engineering is perfect. Isntructions are great. 51% reduction is awesome. Im an aftermarket part guru. And all the mods ive purchased this one has got to be my favorite. The feel and short throw makes me love the setup, and makes me wanna go out and slam some gears. Great product!

I love these two items, after installing the plate I thought the shift action felt really nice. The next day I installed the shifter and had to do a little plastic removal at left rear under shifter plate for the reverse position. I set my reduction for 44%, the neutral position is a little closer to you. I finished the install in my ST yesterday and tried it today. It is different good and within minutes I was very comfortable shifting with my new toy. I highly recommend this package, I absolutely love it, I'm sure you wont be disappointed...Ken in NC
