These shift knobs feature a precision CNC machined brass core for added weight as well as a delrin shell for durability, excellent appearance and "temperature management". A heavier shift knob puts the weight towards the end of the shift lever. This increased momentum while shifting gives you a greater mechanical advantage, allowing for a much more positive feeling throw when rowing through the gears. The delrin shell with laser-etched Boomba logo prevents the surface of the shift knob from getting too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. These shift knobs make a great addition to your Subaru's interior!
The knob fully retains reverse lock out functionality.

Perfection
In my opinion this shift knob is just the right weight, styled well, and feels good in your hand. It won't get hot sitting in the sun either which is a big selling point for me.

Absolutely Awesome!
I just picked one if these up for my 16 WRX and couldn't be happier. The fit and finish look like something premium that should be offered from the factory.The shape of it feels very ergonomic in my relatively small hand's and the weight helps with shifting in a way that inspires confidence rowing through the gearbox. I only wish I had found this sooner. I would also like to see this same knob offered in more color options. Boomba really nailed it with this one.

Perfect weight and size (for me) only wish they would offer different colors like the white one... Black and red would be killer.... I can test it for you.
